Clear text displays at PDF opening, then scanned background comes, how to remove it ?

Hello everyone,

I am a bit frustated while working on this old scanned legal newspaper. I have the text displayed black on white when each pages of  PDF opens before the gross backgrounds shows up in the following second of time. It seems it is on a distinct layer. How to remove it in order to keep the easy to read text displayed in the first second of time ?

Thank you and kind regards.

You can delete the images in Acrobat Pro:

assuming this is an acrobat question.  if scan or something else, post.

in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post if it helps you get responses.
