hi all. where can I find syntax for coding in pdf? Im new and I want to try write the above code myself but need to start somewhere

Im still not quite finding what Im looking for. I just need the basic syntax to search for a string in a pdf

Sorry I dont know what the correct terminology is. I work in vba a lot so I create macros to shorten time to do something. So Basically I want to learn whatever code pdfs are so I can do the same.
