Colors aren't printing right

Your printer is a wide gamut printer and is expecting RGB data, so pre-converting it to CMYK will actually hurt your output results.

Second, even though you have a wider gamut, it still cannot reproduce all possible RGB colours you can see on the screen. High saturation colors, like bright blues and pinks are particularly difficult, and even if you select the right Profile combination for your paper type, it can still only do "the best possible".

Your printer driver should show you possible color management scenaraios, either doing the management on the computer/application or letting the printer manage the colours. You can't have both. For example, on a Mac, the driver will alllow you to select either use ColorSync management (computer-based, and allows you to select your Paper profile), or use Canon Color Management (printer based). On the Win side, there will be settings somewhere in the print driver for Color Management/Adjustment. If you are using Profile selection for your paper, you need to turn OFF any Matching adjustments so you don't double-manage the colors.

Is this an issue with a particular PDF file or with all the PDFs? Please try using a different PDF file and check. If the file is stored on a shared network/drive please download it to your computer locally and then try again.

What is the version of the OS and the Acrobat DC you are using? To check the version go to Help > About Acrobat and make sure you have the recent version 24.02.20736 installed. Go to Help > Check for updates and reboot the computer once.

Also, check for any pending/missing updates for the printer driver and firmware try updating it and see if that helps.
