Combine files

Recently I've got a problem with combining files other than pdf. 

When I'm trying to combine for example two word files, adobe doesn`t convert them to pdf files and present them combined as it used to, but it tries to save just the first one form the list. When i save it i get only the first of uploaded files. 

I already reinstalled adobe DC pro several times and ofc restarted my PC. 

Problem occurs with all different file formats but pdf.

Hi there

Hope you are doing well and sorry for the trouble. As described you are unable to combine files other than PDFs

Would you mind sharing the version of the OS and the Acrobat DC you are using? To check the version go to Help > About Acrobat and make sure you have the recent version 22.1.20142 installed. Go to Help > Check for updates and reboot the computer once. 

A small video recording of the steps you are doing and the issue you are experiencing will be very helpful.

Please try to repair the installation from the help menu (Win Only) and see if that works.

You may also try to reset the Acrobat preferences as described here https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat-discussions/how-to-reset-acrobat-preference-settings-to-defau... and check

Hi there,



I did everything as you suggested. Sadly it didn't solve the problem. I
could record a video but there is only polish language version on my PC. I
can not manage to install English one. Will polish language version video be
helpful for you to help me solve my problem? Please let me know then I try
to record video and send it to you. Also please give me some instructions
how can I send a video to you because in your last message you mentioned
that I can reply only with text here.

Also, check if it's an issue with a specific set of PDF files,  please try to combine a different set of PDF files and check if that works.

you should creat a pdf from word then combine the files.

Actually, i do not need to do that on other devices. Just choose a few files (word) select option combine and adobe convert and combine files all at once.
