Combine pdf files without internet?

Just downloaded Adobe Acrobat.

Need to combine many pdf files into one file.

But Acrobat wants to do this using the internet by having me upload all the files to Acrobat.com. Which will take forever!

Certainly there is a way to merge files without needing to upload them??!  Didn't have to in earlier versions.

Any suggestions?

Thanks!

You must use Acrobat Pro or Acrobat Standard, not Acrobat Reader.

I am having the same issue, I want to combine several pdf's into one pdf, but it saves it in the cloud. I DONT want to save it to the cloud and then download it, I want to save it to my our network. How can I circomvent using the cloud for this? I'm not using Reader, I'm using the full paid for version of acrobat that comes with the creative suite.

When you save, save it to the local drive, not the cloud.
