Hi All,
i might be late to the party, but has the ability to use the Drawing Tool in the Comments section been removed?
We can see the drawing Draw option show, but this seems to have a lot less functionality and capability.
e.g. the draw option does not work well when trying to write on the PDF to enter a comment.
Any ideas
Thanks
Steve

@steven.reid the drawing tools like the Drawing Tool is a part of the Comment toolbar. This is primarily designed for commenting and markup, not for intricate artistic creation. You can adjust properties like line thickness and color.

Hello Steven!
I hope you are doing well. We apologize for the delayed response.
You can find the Drawing tool in the floating toolbar. Click on Draw > to use the tool for adding comments, lines, and more to the PDF file. Refer to the screenshot for guidance. If you don't have the option, reboot the app and the machine once and ensure you have the latest version of Acrobat installed on the machine: 25.001.2043x Optional update, Mar 19, 2025. Check for any pending updates from the Menu > help > check for updates, install the updates, restart the app and the machine, and check. For more information, see this: https://adobe.ly/3E98rpP
If you have the latest version, reset the preferences of the apps once, and reboot the device. See this article to learn more about the commenting tools in Acrobat: https://adobe.ly/4i1aMRM
Let us know how it goes.
Thanks,
Anand Sri.
