Commenting check mark: keyboard shortcut

In previous versions of Acrobat I could check off comments as I dealt with them by simply hitting the spacebar; this seems to no longer work.

Is there a way I can turn this back on? It really messes with my workflow time otherwise.

Hi Amy,

We apologize for the delay in response.

What was the previous version of Acrobat you are referring here? The current version of Acrobat that you are working on, is it the most recent version of Acrobat DC?

The keyboard shortcuts are entitled to commenting tools are explained in detail here- Keyboard shortcuts for Adobe Acrobat

You may go through it and see if anyone of them you are referring to.

Regards,

Akanchha

In current version (Acrobat Pro 2023), it's SHIFT+K, or you can go into Preferences > Commenting > √ Show checkbox in comment note.

Sadly, there is no keyboard shortcut for this function. Try67 has developed a great tool to help with this: Custom-made Adobe Scripts: Acrobat/Reader -- Comments Checkmark Tools

Please vote for this feature on the Acrobat User Voice page: Enable a keyboard shortcut to add a checkmark to a comment – Share your feedback on Acrobat DC
