Question

Compare single column pdf with 2 column pdf

Hi, we have a pdf containing mainly paginated text in one column; this file is then paginated in 2 columns to create a leaflet: is it possible to compare the 2 files to verify if the textual part has remained identical? I tried with the attached settings but it doesn't work.

I would recommend copying the text from both files to a plain-text editor (or even Word) and doing the comparison there. It's very unlikely to work properly if you compare the files as PDFs.

in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post if it helps you get responses.
