‘Contact customer support’ when trying to compress pdf in acrobat

Question

So I'm logged into my account but everytime I click 'Compress PDF' under the Convert drop down menu, it pops up saying 'Unable to process request. Please contact customer support for help'. I've retired contacting customer support but the virtual chat was useless and i don't have enough phone signal to call them. I'm in need of a quick fix , please help!

Hi Megan,

Exactly what version of Acrobat are you using? Acrobat Reader or Acrobat Standard. [Note: since your screenshot has an option for you to get Acrobat Pro, I'm fairly comfortable thinking that you do not have the Pro version.] Or are you using an online version of Acrobat?

Also, if you're using a desktop version of Acrobat, what release is it?

And lastly, what is your OS (and what release)?
