I think inserting a pdf file into PowerPoint presentation as image is a lame solution. Bcz for that case, no modification and editing you can do to them. Of course, if you just need the entire content, it's just OK. But in most cases we will not need a whole page, maybe a paragraph or certain sentences, picture.  If we are able to edit them then reuse into the presentaion, it will help a lot.

So I agree to convert pdf into PowerPoint so that we are able to make seamlessly combination and reuse the editable content freely. A good pdf to PowerPoint Converter is needed.

Using images may be a lame answer, but is also appropriate if you are using someone else's work. Otherwise, the actual answer is to go back the original content that you would have if you created the PDF and create a PPT from that information. If you are using someone else's work in a PPT, you should be very careful about properly crediting the source.

I think properly crediting the source depends on the people who reuse other's work themselves. They ought to have sensition of this.

And now that we should not copy or use other works thoroughly without permission, we just need to convert them to totally editable condition then eliminate most of the parts but editing them as image doesn't allow us to do so. Moreover AFAI Acrobat suite has ability to convert PDF into word document, isn't it involves in an issue like this?

Depends on what you are looking for. The simplest way is to save the PDF as a set of graphic files and load the graphics into PPT. You will likely not be happy with the conversion to PPT with the Save As, but it might convert quite well. It all depends on the structure of the PDF and you can only be sure by trying it.

That is may worthless answer for the day.

    Hi Bill,

Not a worthless answer at all and it sounds perfectly logical. However, nothing in the manual explains how to save as a graphic file. So often the case . .

You have to do a 'Save As...' and select the file type. Each page will be a seperate file. You can then create a photo album in PowerPoint and pull them in into PowerPoint.
