Copying email link on Mac

Explorer ,
Dec 28, 2020 Dec 28, 2020

I see I'm not able to do this in PDF files on the Mac. Right clicking on a link does not give me the option, though I can see the address when I hover on the link. This can't be considered a "feature" for sure. Bug? Anyway, any workarounds?

I don't believe that's possible in Windows, either, if that's what you're suggesting. I don't know if it's a bug, but would certainly be a nice feature to have... You can request it here: https://www.adobe.com/products/wishform.html

Hey!

What has been described above, I believe you have this experience with a specific document containing links in it. Or its with all the files which have the links included?

Upon right-click, your options should be like these-

links.png

To identify the exact cause, please try these steps suggested below-

1- Close and reopen the application, make sure you have the latest update installed. Open Acrobat>Help>check for update.

2- Open an another document which has the link, and check if it has the same behaviour. As it could be because of the document restrictions.

3- Navigate to Adobe Acrobat>Preferences>Security (Enhanced)>disable "Protected View" and "Enhanced Security">OK>close and reopen Acrobat

Note: these changes are only for testing purpose. Once tested, please change it back to the previous setting.

If nothing works, then right click on the link take a screenshot and share it with us here. We'd like to see what options you get there.

Thanks,

Akanchha

Ok, I've tried all those steps, although only one of the config settings appears to be available to me:

Here's what I see now for the links (essentially same as before:

Is it posisble for you to share this file with us? If yes, then please upload it to Document Cloud web  https://documentcloud.adobe.com/link/home/ and share the link with us.
