Create 3D PDF from .stp or .SLDPRT

Hi,

I am running Adobe Acrobat Pro DC on a Mac. I'd like to place some step files on a PDF to generate an interactive 3D PDF viewing experience. Can I do this? If so how?

I saw this flyer (https://www.adobe.com/manufacturing/pdfs/mfg_cad_designcollab_sb.pdf) but have not been able to produce a 3D PDF with a step file or even a .sldprt. 

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
