I post the site url, in this case it is https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rubber_duck_debugging just for practice. I hit create. Literally nothing happens. I have tried this with multiple websites and have tried it using the chrome extension, turning off capture multiple levels . It has not worked 1 time.

Hi Andrew,
Hope you are doing well and sorry for the trouble. A described you are unable to create the PDF from website.
I have tried to reproduce the issue on my end and it's working fine.
Would you mind sharing the version of the Adobe Acrobat DC you are using? To check the version of the application go to Help > About Acrobat and make sure you have the recent version 21.07.20099 installed. Go to Help > Check for updates and reboot the computer once.
Also try to repair the installation form the help menu (Win Only) and see if that works.
You may also try to reset the Acrobat preferences https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat-discussions/how-to-reset-acrobat-preference-settings-to-defau... and see if that helps.
Also try to create a new test user profile with full admin rights in Windows or enable the root account in Mac and try using the application there and check.
Also please check out the help page - https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/using/converting-web-pages-pdf.html
Regards
Amal

I also am having this issue. I'm trying to create a PDF from webpage feature.
(File>create>PDF from Webpage). I need this feature because it creates PDFs of subpages/links within the top HTML page.
I am able to access the feature, but when I select the <create> button I get an Error: Nothing Done /Error Code General Error message.
I have Adobe Acrobat Pro version 2023.008.20555.
Please advise. Thanks

It does not work as expected for me either. I expect an exact replica of the page. I purchased Adobe Pro today.
Here's the webpage view (copy/paste):

Here's how Adobe converts the page:
(attached)
Converting these auction item descriptions on webpage to PDF is the only reason (for now), I bought Pro. I can copy and paste these pages into Word, the old fashion way, but Adobe can't do the same into PDF? Please explain how the function is supposed to work. After Adobe converts the page about 90% of the page didn't convert.
