Hello, they asked me to create files in pdf/h format. How can I go about creating them?
Is there any function that allows me to convert normal pdf to pdf/h?
Thank you in advance
Alberto

So far as I can see, PDF/H isn't a file format. It's a working Practice you need to follow. See https://www.pdfa.org/wp-content/until2016_uploads/2012/09/Bernd-Wild-Healthcare-seminar-0912.pdf which says PDF/A replaced the idea with something real. The lack of anything else on the web suggests it never amounted to anything.

I am a US delegate to the ISO standards committees for various types of PDF (including PDF/A), and on various working groups of the PDF Association that create the standards. The latest PDF/A standard is ISO 19005-4:2020, or known as PDF/A-4. The 2020 update harmonizes the standard with the main PDF 2.0 standard.
Given that the PDF Association's information about PDF/h (cited above) is dated 2012 — 10 years ago — is a clue that this "practice" did not catch on and is not widely accepted. See this webpage for a breakdown of the PDF standards and their versions: https://www.pdfa.org/iso-status/
The best place to get a solid answer to your question would be the PDF Association's "Solution Agent" where your question will be posted to the association's members. PDF Association members are the rock stars of everything about PDFs. See https://www.pdfa.org/resource/solution-agent/
Because technology has advanced so quickly in the past 10 years —and because the main PDF standard ISO 32000 was updated to verion 2.0 three yeas ago (a major expansion of PDF) — I wouldn't base my decision on a technical paper written 10 years ago.

I agree with Test Screen Name.
Looking at the web page you site, I found it telling that the two PDF-creators mentioned leave out Adobe Acrobat. If you look at the history of the PDF, this is astonishing. Please remember that Adobe invented the PDF but in 2008 released it as an ISO standard, and now, no one CONTROLS the PDF but the ISO organization. That opened the doors to anyone who wishes to generate PDFs can. But very, very few do it properly. So what I'm getting at is the two companies mentioned may be trying to pretend that this is a new formal format that they have (and no one else).
If you do a web search for PDF/h, the profound lack of other documentation is rather telling.
I strongly believe that if you generate PDF/a documents, you'll be satisfying the medical industry. But, on the other hand, if you try to generate these PDF/h, you'll have documents that do not satisfy anyone but these two companies.
