    I can not find the directory. I am using a trial version, does that make a difference?

    Look for this folder (Windows):

    C:\Users\<USERNAME>\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Acrobat\11.0\Stamps

    When turning the Stamp into a water mark it becomes static at the point the watermark is applied, are dynamic water mark possible?

    No. Watermarks are static by definition.

    I have AAXI and I followed this step by step but the date was static. Any comments, help, etc.? Thanks.

    Dynamic stamps needs to reside either in the directory listed in step 4 or those listed at the bottom of this infographic. Otherwise, they'll be static.
