Question

Creating Clear Signature or Stamps

I am trying to create a clear signature (one that does not hide the text/data fields).  Everything I have tried results in a signature that looks like it has been physically pasted  into the document.  I am looking for the instructions that will allow signatures that actually look like I physically signed the document.  I know that there is a specific process to set this up (previously I was using the Stamp button with a dropdown to New), but I cannot locate the instructions on how to create a clear stamp/signature.  Either one would work as long as the signature would not hide the signature line, for example.

I would very much appreciate assistance with creating the clear signature.

I believe that what you're asking  can be achieved using the stamp tool as suggested by George Johnson in this old thread back in 2016:

https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat/can-t-create-transparent-signature-stamp-anymore-in-acrobat-xi/td-p/8503020?page=1

If you are a Micrososft Office user, the newer versions of MS Word allows you to edit images and remove the background. You can also achieve this with Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop l, and many other image editing software.

Give it a shot. Create your e-signature image, remove the background, and uplload the signature image onto your PDF using the stamp tool steps suggested in the link above.

Hello Guru,

I have the latest version of Microsoft Office.  I have tried to figure out how to remove the background, but cannot do so.  I can't find the tool in Word that allows background removal.  Would you be able to help with this?

I also tried with Paint and Paint 3D.

I hope you can assist.

I forgot to mention that the "Edit" field so semi-transparent when I right-click the image.  Obviously, this has something to do with being able to get to a remove background option.

Do you have any suggestions?
