Hi, I have Adobe Acrobat 2017. I want to create a QR code that will point to a pdf document, so that when I contact someone by letter and they scan the QR code it will lead directly to the PDF document. Do I need to save the PDF to the cloud?> Do I need to buy another piece of software called Adobe LiveCycle in order to do tjis?

- You need to place the PDF file somewhere publicly available. That can be a cloud hosting service, or even just a web server, if you have one.
- No, not unless you want to make the QR code dynamic and usable in Reader. If the URL is fixed then you can insert it as an image, or as the value of a Barcode field.
