Creative Cloud Acrobat DC opens as Reader when double clicked with limited tools

I'm running the latest version of Creative Cloud with Acrobat DC installed and every time I click on the Acrobat DC icon (either via the Windows Toolbar or through the Creative Cloud interface) the program opens as Acrobat Reader DC instead and I don't have access to the more advanced tools I need to get my job done. Any suggestions?
