Only use "embedded" fonts, those that appear above the first line in the list. All other fonts will be fully embedded in the file, which can increase its size quite a bit.

    Hi @IlkaL5731,

Thank you for reaching out with your question.

There could be multiple reasons why the file size is growing. Open the file in Acrobat, click on File > Save as Other > "Optimized PDF...", and you will see the PDF Optimizer window. Click on Audit space usage...

Every time you fill the form or make any changes check what is changing and that will give us a clue.

How to Reduce the PDF File Size

    1. Save As a New File:
    •      Instead of using the standard ‘Save’ option, create a new file using ‘Save As’. This process rewrites the entire PDF, removing redundant data and potentially reducing the file size.

    1. Use ‘Save As Optimized’:
    •      In Adobe Acrobat Pro, go to File > Save As Other > Optimized PDF. This feature allows you to audit the file’s space usage and selectively compress or remove unnecessary elements.

    1. Reduce Signature Appearance Size:
    •      If your digital signature includes an image, ensure it’s optimized for web use (e.g., a low-resolution PNG). Large images can significantly increase the file size.

    1. Limit Overlapping Content Removal:
    • ·     When sanitizing or redacting PDFs, choose to retain overlapping content to prevent the file from being rasterized, which can increase the file size.

    1. Avoid Multiple Saves:
    • ·      Repeatedly saving the PDF can accumulate incremental changes. Try to minimize the number of saves or use ‘Save As’ to consolidate changes.

in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.
