DC 'Content Preparation' Problems on Mac

On Acrobat DC for mac, the 'Please wait' window freezes during content preparation when I rotate individual pages from scans.  After I close or cancel the box, content preparation will not resume for any document until I reboot the system. When I save these documents, the page rotation is not saved.  I haven't seen this problem on Windows 10, although I seldom use Acrobat on Windows, this has been a problem for me on my late model MacBook Pro.  What is 'Content Preparation' doing exactly?

Hiding the content preparation window will not solve the problem with rotate and save.

Hi Davidm

we are sorry for the trouble. As described, the application is freezing on content preparation

++ Adding to the discussion

Is this a behavior with a particular PDF file or with all the PDFs that you try to open? Please try with a different PDF file and check.

You may also try the following preference settings and see if that helps:
Go to Adobe Acrobat DC (Mac) > Preferences > Reading > Under screen reading option select, 'For large documents, only read the current visible pages'

You may also try to update the application to the new version 20.009.20063 available. Go to Help > Check for Updates.

Let us know how it goes

Regards

Amal
