I have a new laptop and need to deactivate and reinstall Acrobat X Pro to move it over.  It never let me register the product and even now says "Could not register your product at this time.  Try again later."  I do not have the serial anywhere.  I need help to get this moved over please.

When trying to deactivate Adobe Acrobat X Pro I get the message "Please connect to the Internet, then press Continue"

After pressing continue the same message appears. I am connected to the internet through no VPN or Proxy.

I have my serial number. Any suggestions?

confirm that you can connect to the secure adobe servers by reading, http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/policy-pricing/activation-network-issues.html

do you see both logos? if you can and still see a connection error try these steps, https://helpx.adobe.com/download-install/kb/common-network-connectivity-issues.html

if those all fail, white list the adobe network endpoints, https://helpx.adobe.com/enterprise/kb/network-endpoints.html

first secure your serial number:

windows: http://www.belarc.com/free_download.html

mac:  https://mac-product-key-finder.com/

once you've secured that you can deactivate (help>deactivate) from the old computer and then uninstall it.

then install acrobat x pro using the installation file(s) and activate with your serial number.

Single-User Downloadable installation files available:

Download and installation help for Adobe links

Download and installation help for Prodesigntools links are listed on most linked pages.  They are critical; especially steps 1, 2 and 3.  If you click a link that does not have those steps listed, open a second window using the Lightroom 3 link to see those 'Important Instructions'.

My Adobe Acrobat X does not have a Deactivate option in the Help menu.

Then you can't deactivate it... Is it maybe part of a volume license?
