There is no such version as "Acrobat 12". What does it say when you look under Help - About Adobe Acrobat?

Hi Elisabl,
Apologies for the inconvenience caused, as you are looking to remove the application from the system, you may try removing it with Adobe Cleaner Tool using the link- Download Adobe Reader and Acrobat Cleaner Tool - Adobe Labs
Let us know if this works for you.

Thank you. But "removing" does not mean "disabling", or? It means, after removing I have to reinstall the previous version, to activate it and, at least, to deactivate? Regards Scarlett

Hi Elisabel,
To Log off, launch Acrobat and wait for a minute and then go to help menu, you will find the option to log off from the application.

I have already tried to do it, but it did not function. I have tried all options being proposed from Adobe, still without any result. It seems, an update of Acrobat has damaged it making it not able either for deactivation or reinstallation. This program seems to be simple corrupt.

By checking into your account, we see that you have the product registered with your Adobe ID. So once you format the hard drive you can simply reinstall the application by logging into the Adobe account, for more information, you may follow the link - Find your serial number
For better understanding we need some more information:
Waiting for your reply

My problem has been definitely solved. J have uninstalled Acrobat DC using Iobit-Uninstaller, then reinstalled, activated and deactivated and definitely uninstalled the program. Now, J have a free account (1 of 2), which will be used on new machine. Many thanks for your help. Regards - Scarlett
