Question

Deleting Pages in Adobe Acrobat with Control Key

I am having issues deleting pages when I use the "Organize Pages" or Page Thumbnails view. When I hold down the control key and select which pages to delete, the SMALLEST movement of my mouse will duplicate the pages.

I often am having to delete many random pages within a document 3, 8, 10, 12, 20. There is no real way to avoid it and just minimizing the thumbnail to select Shift and a section is not useful.

Is there a way to turn off the duplication feature or what is happening? This is almost like an overnight problem. A few days ago I was doing this constantly without any problem whatsoever, but now it is duplicating pages left and right when I am holding down the control key.

In the preferences of Acrobat enable the touch mode and you don"t need the ctrl key to select pages.
