Determine what edition is installed (Adobe Reader / Pro / Standard)

Hello,

Is there any way to detect whether Adobe Reader or Pro or Standard version is installed on the remote machine? I mean remotely (not by running the EXE file and displaying e.g. the "about application" dialog).
Because according to my research Pro and Reader have almost identical installation (yes, Pro has some extra files, but is that a reliable indicator?). Also the registry entry in the "uninstall" section is identical (e.g. "Adobe Acrobat DC (64-bit)").

Thanks.
Jan

Thanks for the replies, but as I wrote earlier, I need to determine the edition without running the application (e.g. based on some registry entry etc.).

Is there such possibility?
