Different results when filling out a form

Goodmorning,

We have made some forms, to be filled by our customers. Now, when the form is opened in Edge or in a preview on a mail client, the top line is showing a different line, then when opened in adboe. Also the printout is different fromthe preview version.

Probably this is a setting on how we saved the file, but anybody any idea why this is happening?

Attached four examples, the Edge version, The acrobat pro version, the preview on Outlook and the file itself.

Gr,

Erik

Hi to you all.

I think I've got the solution for the problem. It appears that, with our forms, some third party readers have problems with mandatory fileds.

I've removed the mandatory settings on some fields in our form, and now the problem does not occur anymore, as far as I can see.

Thanks for thinking with us, and hopefully, if any of you come across the same challenge, this will help

No, it's actually a bug in the applications you're using to view it. Apple Preview specifically is known to be very buggy when it comes to form fields, so this is not surprising.

Thanks for letting know. Preview is Outlook, so in this case not related to Mac environment.. Strange thing is, when you open the file in Edge, it is showing the right value, and we can change it there to another value. However, after saving, the value goes to another value in Acrobat, as is the printout.

That's probably because the client filled the form in Edge.
