Question

Disable login prompt when opening Acrobat DC

We are tying to use Adobe Acrobat DC across our organization in a VDI environment. We have many users that do not have a account and would just use Acrobat DC for viewing/printing PDF's. We will like to disable the pop up screen every time Acrobat is opened since the users can login manually if they have an account.

Registry setting to enable reduced mode

The registry key to enable reduced mode for Acrobat 64-bit is:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Adobe\Adobe Acrobat\DC\FeatureLockDown:"bIsSCReducedModeEnforcedEx"=dword:0000001

@larry_8014 curious to know if this may be because of licensing agreements — did the company buy Acrobat | Enterprise term or VIP license it could also be the type of licensing, from named user licensing, site licensing to serial number licensing. Either way, there might be a set number of users as well. If you did indeed get the enterprise version, talk to your sales rep.

Thanks for the reply.  We have named user licensing but how would that enable a pop up to happen on what is basically a fresh machine. Seems there has to be a way to disable that sicen  user can log in manually.
