I have several users getting an access denied Distiller error after updating Acrobat DC to version 25.001.20458.
The error pops up randomly even when Acrobat is not in use. I have tried removing DC, running the cleanup tool and reinstalling DC. I also apllied the latest optional update 25.001.20474.
I have cleared all temp folders and granted users full control over all Adobe folders, c:\windows \temp and c:\temp.
I also tried turning UAC from off to on but the error still comes up intermittently. Has anyone else has this issue?

Adobe is working on a new release to resolve the issue. They gave me an anticipated date near the end of July.

There was an update to Adobe Acrobat on July 8th. Was their a fix to that bug (ADC-4510452) in the latest Adobe Acrobat update?

The July 8th update is for 64-bit versions only. I did install it and test with a client and it seems to have resolved the issue. They are still working on the 32-bit release and I was given an anticipated date of July 25th for that release

Thanks for the update. Has anyone else on this thread tested the 64-bit version? I don't see bug #4510452 listed in the bug fix release notes for the July 8th update.

We saw this error for the first time when updating to version Acrobat DC 64-bit 25.001.20623 during the silent update.

Just had a collection of users with this issue this morning on .20623.
All of the users that we had this show up on were not signed into Adobe Acrobat at the time distiller error. Also, this errror comes up if the user has Adobe 64bit installed without a license and no default printer. So a user has the x64 installed but no is not signed in and they print and it trys to print to Adobe PDF. Then it trys to authenticate and you get the error.
