When printing a document in PDF there is an error that comes up stating "This document could not be printed" after I choose ok there is another window that populates stating "There was an error with printing the document."

I have looked through different threads on the forums to resolve the problem but none of them fix it. I have tried using Print as an Image, removed Enable Enhanced Security, turned off Protected View, and removed the option to view PDF/A documents.

I have also uninstalled Adobe Acrobat Pro DC and reinstalled Adobe Acrobat Pro DC version 2022.001.20142.

All documents print fine in A4 format, error message only appears in A3 formatt. I have tried opening the same PDF document in Google Chrome and print it in A3 there and it works perfectly. Other documents (Office documents) print properly alwell so there is no issue with the connection to the printer.

I am having the same trouble here at our workplace. I can't print PDFs and the Tools drop down doesn't work at all. I hope they can fix it soon!

I have this problem too. I cannot print any pdf document from Acrobat. It first occurred earlier in the year. As soon as the message "This document could not be printed." appears the printer throws a blank piec of paper. When the 'OK' box is clicked the "An error occurred while printing this document" message box appears. It happens with any pdf document; however, I can successfully print any of these docuemnts from Google Chrome.

I am using Windows 10. Printer is HP Deskjet 3070A and prints from all other Apps that I use (Microsoft WORD & Excel, TurboCad, Notepad++).

Regards

John

We're having hard time supporting users to take a workaround from June. We're waiting for the update as to when the problem will be fixed.

Thanks,
