Hello 🙂 We have a recurring issue with Acrobat Pro after doing review markups the pdf suddenly will not save. All content disappears. It gives an error "Document could not be saved". See screengrab. Any ideas?
It seems like it's a document-specific issue. Please try the following steps and see if that works:
Navigate to Acrobat> Menu>Preferences (Ctrl+K)>Security (Enhanced)>disable "Protected Mode at Start-up," "Protected View," and "Enhanced Security">OK>close and reopen Acrobat. [Windows only]
Note: These changes are only for testing purposes. Once tested, please change it back to the previous setting.
Or, as an alternative, recreate the file through File>Print>select Adobe PDF as printer>Print>Save as a different name.
Thanks for the answer. It was not document specific, it has now happened on two different pdfs while reviewing and adding markup. Will try your steps if it happens again!
