Document does not sign with digital certificate

Hello,
I'm having trouble inserting a digital certificate signature. I do the whole procedure and at the time of signing the button does not work, I click on it and it is as if I had not clicked.
I ran a test and created a new ID and did the same procedure and it worked out ok.
The problem is that it needs to be done by the Smart Card, made by a certification company to validate my document.
How should I proceed?

Hello Shivam,

Thanks for the prompt service, but I believe that my problem was updating. For magically the signature progressed today and I was able to accomplish the task I needed.

Thank you so much!

I have paid verison of Adobe Acrobat and I used the "Use Certificate" I go through the prompts and all I get is a blue spinning circle.  I tried 2X with same results.  At the top of the pdf it has - Design Revie Form - Adobe Acrobat Standard(64-bit) (Not Responding) Help ??

Hi Traveler2004,

Thank you for reaching out, and sorry about the delay in response.

As the application not repsonding, try the troubleshooting steps suggested i the following help document: https://adobe.ly/3TXapid

If the issue occurs only when you try to add the certificate, delete the certifiate and try adding a new certificate.

Try adding certificate any alternate PDF saved localy on the machine.

Please confirm if you are trying to add certificate sent via Acrobat Sign or it is a document you are filling in Acrobat desktop application.

Let us know how it goes.

Thanks,

Meenakshi

Hi Evandrol,

As per the issue description mentioned above, you are unable to sign a pdf using certificate signature, is that correct?

Would it be possible to share the screenshot of the issue with us? To share the screenshot here in the forums, refer to the steps given in this link: https://forums.adobe.com/docs/DOC-7043#jive_content_id_How_do_I_attach_a_screenshot

Also, let us know dot version of Acrobat and the operating system installed on the machine? You may refer to the steps given in this link on how to check the version: Identify the product and its version for Acrobat and Reader DC

Let us know if you need any help.

Shivam

I have my Acrobat DC up to date and doesn't work. And I expect not to depend on magic to make my paid software to work, for God's sake...!
