This site has a simplified way to download the page as a PDF:

Does anyone know how to replicate that? I'd like to add that feature to an ecommerce site as a resource.

Either they have a library that converts the web-page to a PDF on the spot when you click the link, or the PDF is pre-prepared and the link just directs you to it on their servers... If the contents are not dynamic it's probably the latter, which is much more easily done. The former requires a bit more know-how.
