Drawing tool in new version of acrobat doesn't stay on after drawing one line.

the latest version of acrobat has an updated tool bar for annotations. every time you want to draw a line with the freehand tool, you have to go back to the tool bar and click it again. this is un-usable for me as I mark up files by sketching over them with the drawing tool. Is there a work around here? If not can anyone suggest an alternative PDF annotation tool that does comments and freehand drawing?

Hi @EvanCowan

Hope you are doing well, and thanks for reaching out.

To keep the annotation tool selected, please follow the steps below:

  1. In the Comment toolbar, select the tool you want to use (but don’t use it yet).
  2. Click the Keep Tool Selected icon (Thumbpin icon), as shown in the screenshot below:

Hey, I see that this fix works in Adobe, but I am using the online version that is attached through Google drive and there is no pin option?

Thanks for that. My acrobat looks very different to yours, but there is a Pin icon, which keeps the tools selected. Thanks!
