Question

Drawing Tools used to circle a specific area in a pdf? I lose the document. What's happening?

When I circle a spot in a pdf, using Adobe Acrobat X standard, when I finish the page turns white.  Nothing is there.  But in the side panel, when pages are selected I can see the page exists.  I don't know what setting I have put it on to create this frustrating situation, but please help me out of my nightmare.

One thing to look at is that it may simply be a screen redraw issue.  If something is not showing on your document, but you know it is there, changing you magnification should force a screen redraw, and your content may then be visible.  Give this a try to see if it works.  Perhaps a long shot, but maybe this will help.  Fingers crossed.

My best,

Dave

Hi Adobewhobee,

Sorry for the delayed response.

Are you still facing this issue? If yes, could you please confirm if you are using Draw oval option under drawing markups?

Below is the screenshot:

If yes, try rebooting the machine if you haven't already and check if that helps. If not, try updating Acrobat to the latest patch using Check for updates option under Help menu, reboot the machine after installing update and try again. If that doesn't work, reset preferences for Acrobat following the steps in this link: How to reset Acrobat Preference settings to default.

If issue still persists, repair Acrobat using Repair Acrobat Installation option under Help menu, reboot the machine and check.

Thanks,

Shivam
