Hi Guys. Request e-signature option missing from adobe acrobat dc pro 64 bit. But it is available in old pc when logged in with the same licensed account where 32 bit adobe acrobat has been installed. Tried almost every possible fix but unable to see the request e-signature option in 64 bit adobe acrobat. Please help.

Same problem here. Have tried the update.

Hi Victoria____,

Thank you for reaching out, and sorry about the delay in response.

Could you please confirm if the option is also missing from the Tools tab or other locations?

Check the options you get in the Menu bar. Share the screenshots with us.

Share the screenshot of the tools available in the Tools tab.

Share the current Acrobat and OS version numbers on the machine.

Thanks,

Meenakshi

Two years later and I see this is still missing...

Open Acrobat, go to Edit, Preferences, Languages, Click on the drop-down of the Language option then select Choose at startup. Close the application and launch back you will see the option to select languages, select English and you will see the Request E Signature options. This worked for me and was provided by Adobe Support.

I've read through this whole thread and there seem to still be no solutions to this. Upon getting a new computer, the request signatures feature is now missing, however, I can use it from the browser. This is a feature that I use heavily for work and need a solution. This is the main reason my organization pays for adobe for me. Very disappointing that this has gone for a year with no solutions and so many people reporting the issue.

This option worked for my user: https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat-discussions/request-signature-option-missing/td-p/13291727/page/2. I entirely agree with your statement.

Hello everyone,

I had the same problem. After a few remote sessions with support they said it needs to be worked out with development. To fix the error, an entry in the registry must be deleted:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Adobe\Adobe Acrobat\DC\FeatureLockDown\ -> delete Cservices

all eSign functions are then available

SAME ISSUE FEB 2023

Hi, has anybody found a fix to this? I am experiencing the same issues in Acrobat Pro 2020. Very frustrating as paying a lot of money for this.

Many thanks,

We had exactly the same problem here.  Updated to the latest Acrobat version and all of a sudden Request E-signature is missing.  Since Adobe haven't added the fix here, we had a support call with them, and below fixed it for us.

The feature appears to be controlled by the following reg key:

HKLM\Software\Policies\Adobe\Adobe Acrobat\DC\FeatureLockDown\cServices

You can fix this by either deleting the cServices key, or changing the bUpdater value inside it to 1

For some reason the Adobe package itself, in certain circumstances, seems to create this key for no apparent reason and it can be deleted.

I hope this helps, as it drove me up the creek!

Hi all

Hope you are doing well.

Would you mind confirming if the issue still exists after the new Acrobat version 22.3.20314. Go to Help < Check for updates and reboot the computer once.

You may also download the patch manually from the link https://www.adobe.com/devnet-docs/acrobatetk/tools/ReleaseNotesDC/index.html

If the issue still exists, Please share fiddler logs while you perform the Request signatures workflow. Below are the steps to capture fiddler logs :
• Download fiddler from: https://www.telerik.com/download/fiddler
• Run fiddler and go to ‘Tools-> Options’
• In the HTTPS tab, ensure the checkboxes are checked: ‘Capture HTTPS connects’ and ‘Decrypt HTTPS traffic.
• Now let fiddler run and launch Acrobat and perform the same operation.
• Once complete do a save of data by ‘File->Save->All sessions’.
• Please share this data, via any cloud storage. Just upload the logs to the cloud, generate the link and share that link with us for further investigation.

Regards

Amal

Any updates here?  Experiencing the same issue with one user.  Request for e-signature is only available through the web and not the application.   Running Adobe Acrobat (64-bit) 22.003.20282
