Question

E-Signature Prompt blocking form field Entry

I have a regular form that doesn't have any signature fields. When I click on certain text fields (not all of them) it puts a blue box over the field and prompts me to send the form for e-signature and won't let me type in the field.

The option to fill form fields is grayed out, and when I try clicking again it just brings up the same prompt again. I have tried clicking escape and all that does is unfocus the field so I have to click again.

Hi All,

Thank you for your patience so far.

The issue has been resolved. Please reboot the machine and then relaunch Acrobat.

Then, wait for some time and try to fill out the forms again.

Let us know how it goes.

Thanks,

Meenakshi

Same problem. Fields in my reports and busindess forms are blocked. Acrobat used to be so solid. Since I started using it in Windows 11 it's one weird buggy problem after another. Absolutely maddening. Makes you want to pull your hair out because you don't know if you accidentally checked some little box somewhere or something and caused the problem. You spend an hour banging around different "help" links and then come to realize it's another Acrobat problem after another Acrobat update. Thank god I still have a Windows 10 laptop with Acrobat and I can limp along. AAAAAAHHHhhhh.

This is the most frequently asked question on the forum over the last few days. It's a bug in the latest version of Acrobat.
You'll have to wait for the next update, there's nothing else to do.
