E-Signature Required - Spam Email?

I received an email requesting an e-signature, but I do not recognize the sender and I was not expecting an e-signature request. How can I determine if the email is legitimate?

Adobe Acrobat Sign doesn't use outlook.com to send emails. Don't open the attached htm file!
