Edit and Combile Files stopped working after the upgrade to 2023.008.2042x

After the recent update to version 2042x, the option to edit or combine files when you right-click a PDF stopped working. We tried resetting the Acrobat as the default PDF reader, rebooted the computer, and renamed it via regedit (from some previous posts), but we had no luck. Nothing works. The only way to get the context menu to start working again is to uninstall Acrobat, reboot, and reinstall with the previous offline version. We have 400+ computers, and the issue has occurred to only a handful of users. Do you have a solution or suggestion on how to fix this?

Same issue here.  From Windows Explorer, right-click multiple selected PDF files, choose Combine Files in Acrobat, nothing happens.

Before the update, it would load the files into the Acrobat Combine Files tool.
