Question

Edit forms of a restricted document (secured)?

Hey gang,

I need my clients to be able to fill and comment on a restricted document on mobile devices. I have created the restricted document just fine, but then when I open it in the acrobat app, it says it is a policy-protected PDF which is not supported by the Fill and Sign tool, even though I can fill and sign just fine on my desktop.

Check out this doc on your desktop and mobile device and attempt to fill out the form: http://www.mimosolutions.com/wp-content/uploads/Buyer-Seller-Conflict-EDITABLE.pdf

I tried it using the Adobe Fill & Sign app for iOS and was able to fill it out using that (but not in Acrobat on iOS).  The form does become a "flat" form at that point which would not have "fillable" fields in the Acrobat/Reader desktop apps any longer (but could still be filled out using the Fill & Sign tool in Acrobat or Reader DC).

I don't know that it would be the right solution, you'd have to test it to see, but it can be filled in Adobe Fill & Sign iOS.

Thanks,

Josh

Mobile devices are very dependent upon apps to do a lot of the document processing. Adobe PDF Reader dooes not work but EzPDFReader and qPDF Notes Pro both work.

What app are you using?

Using Nook HD Color Reader.
