I have Adobe Acrobat X 10.1 running on an old Mac.
How do I edit a PDF file? My file is a standard searchable PDF document. It is not an image. It is not protected in an way.
I want to change a few typos. I do not want to create comments or a form. I do not want to add graphics, change fonts, or anything. I only want to fix a few typos.
I can't seem to figure out this simple task. The Help link in the menu does not work: "Adobe Help quit unexpectedly."

Hi there
Hope you are doing well and sorry to hear that.
What happens when you try to edit the PDF file? Do you get any error message? If yes please share the screenshot of the same for a better understanding.
Please make sure that the application is updated to its last version 10.1.16. You may download the patch from the link https://www.adobe.com/devnet-docs/acrobatetk/tools/ReleaseNotes/index.html and reboot the computer once and see if that helps.
Note: Adobe Acrobat X is an old and EOL application. For more information please check the help page https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/end-of-support-acrobat-x-reader-x.html

Amal

I tried following the instructions in the help page. However, when I click "Content", it doesn't do anything.
