Question

Editing a previously filled PDF

So basically, I made a fillable PDF form which contains information that needs to be updated regularly. I filled the form with the existing data that I had and saved a copy of it. After re-opening it to pick up where I had previously left off, I realised that the PDF was no longer able to be editted.

Is there any way to continue editing the version which I saved and has the data inputed? Or do I have to start over from scratch?

Note : I made the fillable PDF in Acrobat and used Chrome to fill out the form.

Hope someone knows the answer.

Thank you for the help.

Did you sign the form at some point?

Fill the form with Adobe Acrobat, not Chrome.

I have attempted the same thing. Once the fillable form is saved, it seems to be locked from further edits, even when opening it in the full Adobe Acrobat version. Is there any way to unlock the fillable form and continue entering the rest of the content needed. I have to complete 6 pages of responses and have to complete it in multiple sittings. I have to be able to save my progress on completing the form and pick up where I left off. Why is this so difficult with Adobe to do?
