Question

Editing images in Acrobat Pro

PDF created from NDD file. Why, when I select and move/resize an image does it have/leave a black, solid line box in the original position? Sometimes there is a dotted line box included as well.

Thanks for your help.

Hi,

Would you mind sharing a screenshot or a copy of that PDF with no sensitive data on it?

Please elaborate about

these NDD files... are they all image files?  Ans, Which program produced them?

What version of Adobe Acrobat are you on, amd which method did you use to export the NDD files to a PDF ? (for example, Print to PDF,  Save As PDF).

Screenshot. See the black box that it leaves behind when I try to move/resize the image.- What is that for?

Sorry. Typo on the file extension. It should be *.INDD for InDesign. Files were created in InDesign and exported as PDF.

Version: Adobe Acrobat Pro (64 bit)

Thanks for your help.

This suggests the image had a frame applied in InDesign. This isn't part of the image. But why are you editing a file made in InDesign at all? That way lies anguish and pain!
