Hi, @antoine38632046h3kk, I'm not sure what kind of editing you were planning or what kind of view you looked at before in previous versions of Acrobat, but unless you are planning on fixing a spelling of a word or change a date, you are always better off going to the original document to make edits and re-create the PDF. The second best way to edit a document is to do what you did: make a Word version of the document and edit that (and then remake the PDF).
While Adobe has made considerable strides in making Acrobat better at editing PDFs, it still has a very long way to go.

Hi!
Thanks for getting back to me. This is an online generated document which prints to pdf. There is no original, unfortunately. Converting to Words is not ideal. Not showing on the sample i uploaded thre are graphic (logo) which get lost. My main point is I have been editing (very samll edits) these documents since 2018 without any problem. Something has happened since the last update and I am at a loss to fix it. I have to consider abandoning adobe for another software, sadly!

As you may or may not know, the vast majority of those of us in these forums are volunteers, and do not work for Adobe.
Nonetheless, I'd like for you to try an experiment. If you've updated Acrobat within the last year or so, you are probably using the new UI. There is a door to the old UI by:
To revert to the old interface:
ā¢ On Macs, go to the View menu and select Disable New Acrobat.
ā¢ On Windows, to the hamburger menu in the upper left corner (where the old File menu used to be) and select Disable New Acrobat, it's about 2/3 down the menu.
See if you get any better results by switching to the old UI.
Let us know your results.
