Hi,
in the past there was always an option to change a normal textbox into text with spacing between characters to fill out fields like this one with the correct spacing
I can't find this option anymore. It does not appear next to the textbox as it has in the past.
Maybe I have deactivated it somehow?
Can somebody tell me where I can find this option?
Thanks a lot!
Hi,
sorry for the misunderstanding. What I meant was this option that showed up in the past (screenshot from a youtube video):
I didn't know it was called "comb" but I knew that I was able to choose it easily, when filling a PDF sheet.
In the meantime I found this option again under the 3 dots:
I was just confused, why it was removed from the default menu and didn't find it immediatly, because I was in "edit" mode and not in "fill" mode.
Sorry again for the confusion and thanks to everybody who

Is this a text field? It doesn't look like it... This option (called a "comb") is only available for fields.
You can find it under the Properties dialog, in the Options tab:
Note you have to de-select all other boxes for it to become available.

If you don't use a text field, you should use a fixed-width font, such as Courrier.
