Sorry I should have put that in my post. Yes I tried that fix first but didn't work. It seems to be profile issue. I can log on in another users environment with no issues and I had a user try to log on under my profile and they got the same error message. Not sure how it interacts witht a profile....?

I also having this issue.  This is NOT an IE issue.  Please don't say it is.  I'm trying to login using my university's account.  This works on one of my other computers, but not on my main computer.  Please post a real solution NOT relating to IE.

I found a solution. Login to Adobe Create Cloud on the Web using your username/password. Downloand install the software from there and this problem goes away. At least for Adobe XD, do NOT download and try to install the generic version found on the home page for XD, you will run into login issues.

Thank you kris2000!  Your solution worked for me but I didn't have to download and re-install Acrobat DC.

1. I signed into my account on Adobe.com

2. I downloaded and installed Creative Cloud

3. I signed in via the Creative Cloud application

4. From within the Creative Cloud application, I clicked on the OPEN button next to Acrobat DC and my existing Acrobat DC installation opened into my account without prompting me for a username.

Seems like an odd work around for a strange problem.  My Acrobat DC was working fine and nothing changed.  I was using it all day without issue and then all of a sudden it prompted me for a username when I tried to print a document.

By the way, I tried the IE solution they posted and that accomplished zero point zero.  It is frustrating that they kept posting that solution blindly.

We had to re-set my Citrix profile and it then worked. (it was an easy fix but not a great solution for a large company) I'm not sure what the difference from the old profile and new re-set profile. We work with an outside computer company and they are trying to find whtat that differnce is. I will post it if we figure it out.
