Embed Soundcloud / Vimeo on pdf

Hi friends !

I have this question:

(How) can I embed a Soundcloud & a Vimeo link on a pdf -> but without leading to a website but open the audio / video stream on the pdf.

The reason:

I want to skip the extra step of an open websitepage (where the stream (soundcloud or vimeo) is)
When I just add / import a video + audio files to the pdf the pdf would be huge and difficult to send / open.

Is this still the case? I, too, was looking to embed a vimeo video into a PDF. PDF gets too large if I upload the actual video. If Vimeo won't wok, could you suggest hosting sites which will work with PDF? Thank you.
