Hey Community,
With the new release of the AI assistant feature, I failed to access the feature on Adobe Acrobat Pro, considering I'm a creative cloud user. The feature, however, appears on my web version (see picture attached). I'm unsure if I'm missing a step in the activation process or if this is a known issue with a workaround.
Here are the details:
- I am using the latest version of Acrobat Desktop.
"Architecture: arm64
Processor: Apple M1 Max
Build: 24.1.20604.0
AGM: 7.1.4
CoolType: 9.1.0
JP2K: 4.0.2.54248"
- My operational system is MacOS Sonoma 14.3.1
- I've checked the Preferences, but there doesn't seem to be an option to enable the AI assistant.
- I've also tried reinstalling Acrobat Desktop following @Serene_nature15C3 's suggestions (See here), but the issue persists.
Has anyone else faced this problem? If so, how did you resolve it? Are specific settings or updates required to enable the AI assistant feature on Acrobat Desktop? Any guidance or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance for your help and support!

Hi there
Hope you are doing well and thanks for reaching out.
As you have tried most of the troubleshooting steps with no luck, is this a work computer that you are experiencing this issue on? If yes, please contact your IT admin at work and see if that helps.
Let us know how it goes.
Regards
Amal

Thank you for your suggestion. I want to clarify that this is my personal Macbook. Also, I’m pleased to report that the AI Assistant button on the desktop client is now functioning as intended. It appeared a few days ago without any further action on my part.
