Hi,

I am signed into Adobe Acrobat Pro DC (64 Bit). I am no longer able to view PDF preview in windows explorer. I read an article that suggested this setting can turn off after an update. I have trie dto check the box in Preferences, General, but although i can place  atick in the box, the setting is not saved when i close Acrobat DC.

Please help.

Hi there

Hope you are doing well and sorry to hear that. As described the preferences settings wont save after the application restart.

Would you mind sharing the verison of the Adobe Acrobat DC you are using? To check the version go to help > About Acrobat and make sure you have the recent version 21.07.20099 installed. Go to Help > Check for Updates and reboot the computer.

Also try to repair the installation from the help menu (Win Only) and reboot the computer and see if that helps.

Please try to reset the Acrobat preferences as described in the help page - https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat-discussions/how-to-reset-acrobat-preference-settings-to-default/m-p/4792082

You may also try to create a new test user profile with full admin rights in Windows or enable the root account in Mac and try using the application there and check.

Regards

Amal
