This happens everytime I try to digitally sign a document thorugh IE on my government PC.  Any solutions on how I change SHA256 to SHA1 as most of these adobe forum post have suggested?  If so could one provide step by step instructions on how to do this as I am not tech savy?

That doesnt show you how to make the change from SHA256 back to SHA1, it just instructs to do so.  Like for example, where is this (aSignHash) registry key located?  Can we start there?  And please do not respond with "its in the registry"?  Tell me where this is IN THE REGISTRY?

Hi there

We are sorry to hear that. Please check with your signature device or driver manufacturer for an updated driver that may resolve this error.

Note: Changing the registry setting is not a recommended approach as this would set SHA1 as the default hashing algorithm for all signatures, which is considered deprecated industry wide.
