ERROR CONSTANTE DE IA RESUMEN GENERATIVO ADOBE READER PRO

Recibo un error constantemente cuando genero resúmen generativo de un libro en Adobe Reader. Tengo suscripción a pro con ia assistant. No puedo usar la ia generativa en varios archivos.

I hope you are doing well, and we are sorry for the trouble and the delayed response.

 

The error you see (“Generative Summary” failing) happens when Acrobat or Reader cannot process the file with the AI Assistant. Please ensure that the file is not an Unsupported file type or content. See this article for more information: https://adobe.ly/45Iu5ek

If your PDF is a scanned image (like a book), you must first run OCR (Text Recognition): Only in Acrobat. 

Go to All Tools > Scan & OCR > Recognize Text > In This File.

Save and retry the summary.

 

 

Ensure you’re on the latest version of Acrobat/Reader. Go to Menu >Help> Check for Updates and install if available. Restart the app and the machine, and try again. 

 

If it is happening with all the PDFs, could you share a sample PDF file for further investigation?

@amenini The book they you trying to summarize maybe too big (over 100 MB or 600+ pages), or is a scanned image with low-quality text, or is a password-protected PDF. Or the error message suggests a potential server-side issue or a temporary bug in the application— you can check the Adobe status here, https://status.adobe.com — some things are down at the moment!
