Error in printing from word to PDF

First of all, since you have Acrobat, there is no real good reason to “print to PDF.” You should be using the “save as Adobe PDF” function installed by Acrobat into your copy of Microsoft Office. Printing to PDF loses all color management, live transparency, etc.

That having been said, the message you are getting has to do with Distiller not being to access the font Open Sans. Typically, this might be caused by accessing the Adobe PDF Settings from the Advanced tab of the Adobe PDF Properties. Make sure that the option Rely on system fonts only; do not use document fonts is unchecked. That will likely fix this particular problem.
